NORTHAMPTONSHIRE

£Open (DOE) + Overtime (Time ½) + 25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays + Pension

Hours: 8:30am to 4:30pm

As part of this continued business re-focus and growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Print Finisher to be an integral part of the team and aid in the facilitation of successful projects through the business. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Print Finishing, although not essential and training can be given.

Responsibilities / Requirements:

  • Operate a film laminator to laminate both roll and rigid substrates
  • Operate a Bürkle liquid laminator
  • Operate a sewing machine to hem PVC/Mesh banners and fabric prints
  • Vinyl application/mounting
  • Sign assembly
  • Assembly of exhibition graphic displays
  • Using packaging tools to pack products suitably for either customer collection or courier service
  • View production management system to view customer jobs, due dates and identify priorities
  • Essential skills
  • The successful applicant will be working as part of a team. They will therefore need good communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high standards are kept at all times with a keen eye for detail.
  • Applicants are required to be active and fit for carrying and helping to load media onto the printers.
  • They must also be willing to help out in all aspects of production as when required.
  • Print finishing experience is essential although some training can be given.
  • Experience of print operating/minding would be beneficial.
