Shift Pattern: 3 shift pattern + 24.3% shift allowance

A Pre-Press Operative is required to join a busy Production Team at a leading flexographic packaging printer. You will be responsible for the clean down processes and the preparing of all printing equipment ready for the printing processes. Ideally someone who is highly organised, with the ability to work within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring that all print room press equipment is cleaned, kept in good working order and ready for use.
• Ensure all production planned works orders are prepared and identified using Data scan.
• Responsible to the Pre-Press Supervisor in order to assist in ensuring that maximum outputs and efficiencies are achieved during shift. This should be an ongoing process and as such your efforts to achieve continuous improvements are vital.
• Assist with team-related issues as and when required.
• Required to report machine or equipment breakdowns to the Pre-Press Supervisor as soon as possible after they occur, whilst striving to ensure minimum disruption to the team.
• Ensuring that all Health, Safety and Environmental Policies relating to your work area are adhered to by yourself at all times.
• Responsible to their team for ensuring that their area, equipment and machinery are kept clean and tidy and in accordance with the relevant procedures during shift.

Requirements:

• Experience of working within a Manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Computer literate.
• Excellent Organisation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
