£Attractive Hourly Rate + Pension + Overtime + Death in Service

Shifts Available:
* Double Day shift (36 hours a week);
Earlies - 0630 to 1400 Monday to Thursday and 0630 to 1230 on the Friday
Lates - 1400 to 2145 Monday to Thursday and 1230 to 1730 on the Friday
OR
* Night shift (35 hours a week);
2145 to 0630 Monday to Thursday

Our client offers a complete printing and packaging service as a one stop shop for a variety of markets. They are currently recruiting for a Heidelberg Print Finishing Operative to join their busy team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a B1 Hot Foiler.
• Apply Emboss and foil impressions to various types of cardboard sheets.
• Set up to 6 different foil positions at any one time.
• Use die cutting forms to die cut full sheets.
• Make ready up to 10 dies in anyone pass.
• Follow out in house quality checks, recording any issues and storing samples.
• Work with the production team to lay up sheets while taking into account customer demand, machine positioning, waste and efficiencies.
• Monitor consumable stock levels.
• Use Melonex files to position dies to exact position.
• Follow production schedules.
• Stone down dies to match weight and heat that is being used.
• Set machine temperatures to suit bespoke dies/board.
