Our client is a busy print and creative studio situated in Surrey. They are a team of graphic designers, print and marketing professionals who've been in residence at their central location for over 35 years, providing complete and effective solutions to businesses and organisations.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to drive business growth, as part of their small but fast paced print and design studio team. They are looking to recruit a Client Services Account Manager with a background in the print industry (essential). Knowledge of small format digital print would be a distinct advantage.

Based in the Studio and reporting directly to the Managing Director; the role is to be a main point of contact for clients and finding solutions to match their requirements; whilst maximising business opportunities and customer satisfaction. The role will deal primarily with new and existing clients on the phone, by email and face to face in the Studio, but will also involve proactively looking for new opportunities. The business is strongly service driven, and they strive to offer solutions that match and then exceed clients' needs and expectations.

The candidate:

  • The right candidate will show excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have a real desire to provide outstanding client service, be highly self-motivated and determined to succeed.
  • They will also have a keen eye for detail, high levels of energy and a sense of fun; whilst being able to work using their own initiative.
  • They will have excellent organisational and time management skills, in an often-demanding environment.
  • They will be IT literate and definitely have experience of the printing, digital and business communications industry in a customer facing environment.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Be a main point of contact for clients both on the phone, email and in the studio, providing estimates and maximising opportunities for the business.
  • Be able to see through client projects in their entirety, from estimate to timely delivery.
  • To develop and grow existing business clients to and beyond financial targets set out in the business plan.
  • Work towards achieving gross profit targets for the whole business.
