Area Sales Executive - Labels & Packaging (Ref: PK7777)




Circa £50K + Uncapped Profit Related Commission on all Sales + Bonus on New Business Acquisition + Pension + Car / Allowance

Our Client is an innovative, independently owned and profitable manufacturer delivering first rate solutions. They hold the highest level Grade A Hygiene Risk BRC / IOP certification and manufacture and supply a full range of UV Flexo & Digital (inkjet) self-adhesive labels and packaging along with reselling ribbons, labellers, printers, packaging & packaging equipment for food and non-food markets - Retailers, Food, DIY, Drinks, POS, Building Materials etc.

Due to recent upgrades to printing, pre-press and finishing equipment, allowing them to provide customers with the highest quality print regardless of requirements, they are looking to add high calibre salespeople to their external team.

Primary responsibilities involve self-generating new leads and converting those opportunities. You will also be required to attend customer premises according to your geography, to manage any specific requirements that may arise and to develop more business opportunities for growth.

This position would require you to have an excellent understanding of customers business needs and sell new products and services that would benefit the customer's configuration.

Specific duties involve:

  • Proactively identify, generate, qualify and close leads within your pipeline and customer base
  • Engage with channel partners to find and develop new opportunities
  • Responsible for full sales cycle from proactively generating lead to close
  • Hands-On management of the quality of customer service levels throughout the whole sales process
  • To always maintain a clear understanding of your customers business needs and how the company products and services fit in with them
  • Meeting and exceeding monthly sales target with extremely competitive commission earnings potential
  • Developing and maintaining lasting relationships with all customers
  • Work in partnership with marketing to develop digital campaigns to enhance new customer conversions

Key Requirements:

  • A proven track record of sales within the label or packaging sector is preferred
  • A new business focus with relevant contacts and the mentality to secure new customer accounts for the benefit of the company and for your own financial rewards
  • Knowledge of CRM software advantageous
  • Great communication skills
  • Presentable, and with personality
