Assistant Contracts Manager-Fit Out
Our client is a management main contractor in the commercial refurbishment sector of the construction industry with an enviable reputation in the field of fitting out predominately within the leisure industry. Due to continued growth they are now looking to recruit another Contracts Manager to join an already successful team.
The main role of the Assistant Contracts Manager is to support the Contracts Directors. Duties will include the following:
- All aspects of contract management including the organisation of subcontractors & suppliers
- Regular communication with site agents and frequent site visits
- Managing and maintaining documentation including Health & Safety procedures
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate a good understanding of the contracting and fit out business and have a proven track record in this or a similar field
- You will also be expected to develop close working relationships and to communicate effectively with clients, sub-contractors and colleagues
- IT skills are essential and a good knowledge of CAD would be an advantage
