Contracts/Project Manager

Our client based in the South East are a leading UK Shopfitting and interior refurbishment specialist. Covering all aspects of the shop fitting, commercial and interior refurbishment industries.  Our client offers a complete design and build option to create a fully integrated mechanical and electrical turnkey package covering plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, joinery and decorative finishing thus ensuring continuity throughout any given project from inception through to completion to the commercial, industrial and residential sectors.

• Ideal candidate would be a keen Site Manager/Foreman looking to move into project Management. With the following attributes as detailed below.
• Possess a trade background preferably in carpentry/electrical (advantage but not essential)
• Having progressed to site foreman and then site manager
• Posses a strong and working knowledge of all other trades
• Having a direct background in fast track shopfitting.
• Have strong leadership and managerial qualities.
• Be confident in dealing with sub-contractors, designers and clients.
• Be able to read working drawings, carry out take offs and set up all trades on site, based on information from working drawings.
• Also be able to carry out the same duties as detailed above without the aid of detailed drawings on occasion.
• The role will be split around 60/40 working on site and working in the office.
• Capable of chairing site meetings and taking meeting minutes to be formally drafted and issued when back in the office.
