Studio Manager

Our client is a leading display, design and manufacturer of specialised merchandising, point of sale and display solutions. Our client offers expertise and a variety of Point of Sale/Point of Purchase (POS/POP) solutions to the biggest FMCG brands and retailers in the market.

They are seeking a talented & knowledgeable Heavyweight 3D Designer/Cardboard Engineer to lead the Product & Graphic Design Departments in a growing POS/POP print business. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the team that leads the market -working at the cutting edge of impulse display & merchandising.

Working with both the customer facing and production teams you will be heavily involved in the acquisition, planning, preparation, co-ordination and production of complex, high market profile, customer projects on time to short lead times and very high standards clients have come to expect of them. A previous background of leading a (creative) team in a busy, demanding environment is essential.

• Minimum 7-10 years background in of cardboard engineering in POS/POP production environment with a sound technical knowledge of manufacturing techniques and materials together with extensive CAD/CAM and sampling.  
• Proficient in using Kasemake to a high level.
• Ability to interpret complex briefs and produce innovative, manufacturable solutions. 
• You must be able to demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of construction techniques and a proven track record of innovation/creativity to include complex pre-filled FSDU’s and mixed media solutions.
• It is essential to have a clear sense of commercial prioritisation, great time management, team work and planning skills together with the integrity, communication and interpersonal skills that come with a true professional’s ability to manage other stakeholders’ expectations and to meet demanding deadlines.
