Digital Print Operator

Our client are seeking a Large Format Printer/All Rounder to run their various print and finishing machines.

Applicants must have a proven track record and expert knowledge of:

CS3 /4 Suite and Apple Macs
Reprographics and file trouble shooting.
Printing to large format printers such as HPZ6100, Solvent, UV flat bed - 2,5m
Using flat bed cutters
Colour matching.

Distinct advantage to have a general knowledge of:

Quark
Vinyl laying
Bench finishing
Laminating
Site work / installations
3D applications.

You will as a successful applicant be expected to be able to colour match, run a number of different printers, as well as use RIP software, send jobs to print from our Apple Macs; and use a ZUND flat bed cutter.

A flexible approach is essential, you must be self motivated with ability to work independently. We require an honest, hard working, loyal, committed employee with the intelligence to see the potential available to them, from this role.

The hours will be mainly evening with some need for swapping to days at short notice.
