POS Estimator
Our client is a leading Screen and Digital Company in the UK. They are currently looking for an Estimator to produce cost effective and competitive estimates within given timescales, duties will include:
- Acquire a broad knowledge of all printing processes.
- To acquire knowledge of the equipment (computers) within the department and the method of operation.
- To keep abreast of technological advances and computer updates.
- Produce a weekly report showing estimates produced and profit levels applied.
- To acquire knowledge of materials, inks, applications, operations methods and relative machinery to produce a job.
- Estimate job costs, considering materials, labour, overheads and net profit contributions.
- Liaise with all relevant personnel re-quoting to ensure targets and objectives are achieved.
- Liaise with outwork suppliers, as and when required, for quoting purposes.
- To communicate all relevant information to the Commercial Manager as and when required.
- Maintain a good working relationship with all department Managers and Supervisors.
- Liaise with the client where required, re-quoting and ensuring a professional approach is used at all times.
- Ensure all procedures related to ISO9002 are adhered to.
