Our client is one of the leading sign company in Midlands, due to major investment in new equipment they are looking to recruit an Estimator to take responsibility for quotes and enquires. This position requires a hands on aptitude for mathematics, the ability to quickly analyse, compare and interpret detailed and sometimes poorly defined information, duties will include:

Provide complete cost estimates for redesigns of existing products or the development of new products involving all production processes
Review construction or conceptual drawings to determine the processes required
Establish detailed parts lists to asses if it is more efficient to produce or purchase the parts
Initiate price enquiries from potential suppliers and maintain up to date price data
Produce written specifications which clearly define all components included
