Business Development Manager
Our client has been established for over 30 years and is the UK’s leading manufacturer of signs including bespoke and internal/External & Large format Graphics, they are currently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to cover the Retail Sector selling custom and standard products to existing and prospective customers within a defined territory in order to achieve and surpass sales turnover objectives, the successful candidate will have the following skills and knowledge:
- Proven and demonstrable sales background within the market sector
- Able to demonstrate a track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets
- Ideally a signage industry background of selling a similar product or service to end users, property managers, facilities managers, designers, architects and construction companies
- Able to absorb technical information and communicate customer requirements
- Take personal responsibility for the development of their sales territory and identify all potential opportunities within their market sector
- Ability to track and manage projects/opportunities with key decision makers.
- Must have the ability to build strong working relationships with clients over a protracted order cycle
- IT literate with knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
