Commercial Manager - Corrugated

 

Our client is a well invested group with many years experience manufacturing corrugated board solutions. They are an expanding business who offer national coverage. They are looking for a Commercial Manager to manage and develop the Internal Sales and Commercial team, and ensure they achieve their team and individual business objectives.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Responsible for a team of 7, from Managers, Co-ordinators, Estimators and Designers
  • Provide information, advice and support to the external sales teams which will allow them to deliver profitable growth
  • The safety and well-being of yourself and your team
  • To be an effective member of the Management Team
  • Leadership, management, development and motivation of your team
  • Create an environment of continuous improvement, training and development throughout the Sales & Commercial Team
  • Develop succession plans for key roles
  • Maintain a list of skills and competencies for all staff, highlighting shortcomings and potential training requirements, and implementing plans to address these.
  • Recognising and fulfilling customer needs and requirements.
  • Seek out and implement improvements to working methods, systems and procedures
